Picsara has been designed to be hardware independent supporting microscopes, endoscopes and all types of digital cameras. It is well suited for applications within pathology, dermatology, endoscopy, ophthalmology etc and can be fully integrated with PACS.
- Picsara lets you work in a live image. This is a huge advantage when looking for the right object to capture. The image can then easily be frozen and retrieved from the input device by pressing a key or a remote control. This makes work both fast and ergonomic.
- Thanks to the flexible graphical user interface of Picsara, it can be adapted to suit most disciplines within the healthcare. I.e. Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Pathology and others. The database’s text fields can easily be tailored without programming and different forms can be created to fit the field of use.
- Picsara facilitates image capture, viewing and storage using many different image sources. Picsara can for example be integrated with digital cameras, scanners, analogue- and digital endoscopes, video sources and Direct Show compatible equipment. Picsara also supports connections using TWAIN/WIA.
